Seeking Truth Through Transparency

The 4 Hawaiians Only Project (including this Wiki) is part of an ongoing research project that seeks more information about grants and programs to benefit those of Native Hawaiian ancestry. We have focused primarily on programs directly intended to help Native Hawaiians, rather than those that might simply disproportionately affect them for various socio-economic reasons. So far, our research has uncovered more than 800 grants from federal and state sources (including OHA grants) for fiscal years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and the beginning of 2011 for a total of more than $130 million spent on programs related to Native Hawaiians.
